A product imported by the SmartBom connector is by default not visible to users browsing the product catalog.

With the Content Manager role, you can modify a product's visibility and accessibility settings:

• Visibility determines whether or not the product is visible on the website
• Accessibility determines whether a product is public or private, and allows you to restrict a product's visibility for selected customer accounts.

Access to the product edition

Access to the product edition from the information panel by clicking on Edit to change the product visibility and accessibility settings:

Open the product's information panel and click on Edit to change the product's visibility and accessibility settings.

Activate a product for public visibility

You can make a product visible to all internal users of your company, and all your customers and resellers.

This public visibility is set by activating the visibilty toggle and deactivating the private setting of your product. The settings for public visibility should be such as :

• The lock icon desapears when the product is set as public
• The eye indicates that the product is active and visible to people browsing the catalog.

Activate a product for private visibility

You can choose to make a product visible only to sepecific customer account and still keep the visibility for all people internal to your company.

This private visibility is set by activating both product visibility and privacy settings.
